The "2023th Higono Tsuritemari" was held for three days from November 11rd (Friday) to November 3th (Sunday), 5, mainly in front of Shimotori COCOSA, and was visited by many visitors.

今年のてまりの絵柄は「蝶」を選び、鶴田美知子先生のご指導によりワークショップを、下通繁栄会事務所にて下通関係者のワークショップを2回、協力団体として、今年は「熊本駅前看護リハビリテーション学院」にて2回、合計4回のワークショップを開催し、前回3,473個に、今年制作分206個（柄：蝶／熊本駅前看護リハビリテーション学院78個、下通繫栄会26個、池田先生102個）を加えた「3,679個」を、木櫓9基と小型櫓を1基に展示しました。

On the day of the event, calligrapher Futaba Takeda, who had written the words ``Higono Tsuritemari'' on a newly displayed hanging scroll, was also in attendance.
